M.T.N. Youth Ministries

Purpose:
M.T.N. or "Mending the Nets" Ministries is the youth ministries of People's Church. It exists for the sole purpose of glorifying God and reaching teenagers with the transforming power of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

In Luke 5:4-11, Jesus performs an amazing miracle in the sight of Simon Peter. The Bible tells us Peter had been fishing all day and caught nothing for his efforts. He was about to give up when Jesus called to him and told him to cast his nets on the other side of his boat. Peter reluctantly listened and caught a great catch of fish. From this story Jesus tells Peter "...from now on you will catch men". M.T.N. is a place where we want to "catch" teenagers for the glory of God. And when we say "catch" we mean:
letting them know Christ has a plan for their lives if they feel lost and aimless, loving them if they have been batted around by sin and heartache,
and letting them know that they too can be agents of love and action to other hurting teens by living like Christ and showing him in all they do.
M.T.N. wants to see God transform the lives of young people!

When We Meet:

M.T.N. meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm.
M.T.N. Sunday School Class at 9:45 am.

All the youth are encouraged to also attend the main services of People's Church:

Wednesdays         7:30 pm

Pastor Daniel's passion is to preach the gospel in an understandable way to teenagers while being relevant to the world they live in.

M.T.N. has regularly scheduled activities. We hope you will consider coming to one of our meetings.
