Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers' Purpose
Royal Rangers is a world-wide boys ministry designed to reach, teach and keep boys for Jesus Christ. It was created by the Assemblies of God in 1962, and has grown to more nations than ever imagined. It is designed for boys ages 6-12. The boys learn to appreciate the outdoors but also to have a systematic understanding of the Bible. Also, our program strives to build character in the boys.
The boys meet every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. The National Royal Ranger Website is: Royalrangers.ag.org.
Our Aim
To instruct, challenge and inspire boys in the area of Biblical principles, Christian service, and moral conduct, through means of interesting activities the boys enjoy.
Our Goals
When a boy completes this program, our goals are:- that he should have a basic knowledge of what the Bible teaches.
- that he be CHALLENGED for Christian service. He should be ready to take his place in the area of Christian service where God wishes him to be.
- to INSPIRE a belief in the fundamental beliefs of the church.
Hiking & Camping
There is nothing like the adventure of hiking along a wilderness trail through the woods. Likewise the thrill of the campfire is an experience every boy needs. Boys are equipped with the basic skills of camp craft such as: how to tie knots, set up a tent, other equipment and how to cook outdoors.
Motto
Ready. Ready for anything. Ready to work, play, serve, obey, worship, live, etc.
Pledge
With God's help, I will do my best, to serve God, my church, and my fellow man, to live by the Ranger Code, to make the Golden Rule my daily rule.
Royal Ranger Clubs

Ranger Kids—the trail to fun and adventure—is an exciting program for boys in kindergarten, first and second grades. Boys in this age group participate in great fun and excitement that will allow them to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character.

Discovery Rangers
is a fun and exciting program for boys in
third - fifth grade.
Not only does the boy get to discover great indoor and outdoor activities, he
will get to make many new friends. Being a Discovery Ranger is another step toward
growing into a man of God.

Adventure Rangers
Adventurers from the past include men like Christopher
Columbus, who sailed west into uncharted
waters to get to India and discovered the
American continents; Nicolaus Copernicus,
who developed a new theory about the
arrangement of our universe; and Jedidiah Strong Smith,
who explored the wilds of America's western
frontier. These are men who inspire us all to probe
and expand our horizons. Sixth - eighth grade
young men have the chance to do as these men. A Ranger is one who explores
new frontiers, so the Adventure Ranger will explore new areas and takes advantage of
opportunities for the future as he learns and understand God's will for his life.
