Prayer Partners
Prayer Partners is a ministry of prayer; specifically intercessory prayer. We meet together to pray for specific needs knowing that we are a needy people. We believe that God does answer prayer and has invited us to come to him in our time of need. Prayer does more to preserve our way of life and our nation than anything else. The fact that our nation has survived for more than two centuries is due to prayer more than to the brilliance of those who govern us. We need God's help in our lives, our families, our communities and in our nation. We believe that God does respond to prayer by his supernatural power in his way and his time.
Heb 4:14-16 - 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. 15 "Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.
17 "Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. 18 Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name." NIV
