Usher Ministry
                                   Purpose

    To assist people so that they enjoy their worship experience and are comfortable.

    Duties:
    Assist in seating the people
    Serve Communion
    Receive the offering
    Pass out any special handouts
    Available to answer any questions
    To give direction to our visitors
    Open and close the buildings after service


    People are Special:
    We believe that every person is special and that there are no ordinary persons
    only extraordinary persons. You cannot discover someone's talents and gifts
    without being a good listener and appreciating and placing high value on people.
    Therefore we encourage our ushers to be good listeners.


    Blooming Where You Are Planted:
    This is a very important part of our philosophy of ministry. We desire to help each
    person discover their gifts and help develop them. We know that not every visitor
    will choose People's Church as their home but we want to treat each person as if
    they will.

    It's a noble task to develop people by helping them grow and blossom into all that
    God meant for them to be. It consists of helping each person to discover talents,
    abilities, and God given desires, and then encouraging them  to develop those
    skills and put them to good use.
